The city is preparing to release an all-encompassing fact sheet that explains everything you have ever wanted to know about parking downtown.
The document, titled "Frequently Asked Questions — Portsmouth's Downtown Parking," is a work in progress, but will soon be disseminated to the general public, according to City Manager John Bohenko.
The six-page fact sheet is broken down into four sections: downtown parking needs; need for another downtown parking garage; Worth lot redevelopment concept plan; and public benefits. An example of basic questions answered in the document are: How many parking spaces are located downtown? Why does the city need another parking garage? What is the current parking need/deficit?
