  1. What is coordination?

Coordination is a strategy for transportation and human service providers to share resources in order to increase efficiency, lower trip costs, and increase the number of people receiving services.  For more information on coordination in NH, visit Coordination Efforts.

  2. What resources are available for people who need help accessing transportation?

ACT works to improve and expand community transportation options in the region. For complete details on available transportation options, please visit the Community Transportation Directory.

  3. Who is eligible for these services?

Eligibility criteria are set by the organization funding or providing the service. Some agencies only provide transportation to people who are their patients or the elderly or disabled, while others will give a ride to anyone who needs it.  Please check the Community Transportation Directory, and if you aren’t sure if you qualify for a partcular service, please contact the agency directly.

  4. How can I help?

Individuals who want to help improve community transportation can volunteer for one of the region’s volunteer driver programs or become a member of ACT.

  5. What is the Community Transportation Directory?
