ACT FY13 Work Plan, adopted September 19, 2012

Coordination Implementation & Operations

  1. Acquire/deploy coordination software & associated technology for implementation
  2. Establish systems/procedures for information flow amongst coordinated funders and service providers
  3. Integrate DHHS transportation services into coordinated transportation system
  4. Execute contracts between lead agency, service provider(s), and funders
  5. Begin and expand coordinated community transportation services
  6. Expand Call Center to support centralized call-taking and/or coordination for region
  7. Integrate employment access for economically disadvantaged/under-employed rural families into coordination efforts
  8. Implement expanded service and/or coordination to fill service gaps
  9. Manage and monitor the coordinated transportation services

General & Ongoing Advocacy & Education

  1. Secure FY14 match funds to support regional coordination
  2. Advocate for and seek funds to support & expand community transportation
  3. Inform local communities & local elected officials of ACT benefits & successes
  4. Expand number organizations, service providers, communities and key stakeholders in ACT, including agencies that provide or purchase transportation
  5. Participate in the Statewide Coordinating Council
  6. Monitor national "best practices" for coordination of community transportation; apply applicable models; disseminate ACT's experience

General Planning/Program Development

  1. Develop and adopt long-range ACT Financial Plan
  2. Expand Volunteer Driver services to five(5) additional communities
  3. Expand Veteran and Military Service Organization involvement in coordination planning and operations
  4. Travel training: educate and train elderly and disabled to access community transportation services
  5. Survey customer satisfaction
  6. Update & disseminate DIRECTORY of transportation services in region as warranted
  7. Develop marketing strategies
  8. Collect service data of current services in region through coordination software
  9. Update service gap analysis
  10. Establish Outcome Evaluation Plan and conduct evaluation
